Support the rehabilitation of addicted patients by contributing with your donations to their residential treatment

The Takiwasi Center is a non-profit association that since 1992 receives patients with addiction problems. Takiwasi proposes an innovative and effective protocol for the treatment of addictions and mental health disorders that arises from the encounter between traditional Amazonian medicine and Western psychotherapy.

Takiwasi has been self-financing for 25 years through the offer of care services, such as personal development seminars and retreats-diets, and the sale of natural products. Our activities are also carried out thanks to the small individual contributions of generous people, committed to our work and who have personally experienced the transforming power of traditional Amazonian medicine.

Takiwasi also offers different types of grants for people suffering from addiction problems who lack the economic resources to pay for their own treatment. The institution tries to support all those who show strong desire to get cured, putting in second place their economic limitations.
