Therapeutic Retreats for Military Veterans and First Responders
Since last year, Takiwasi has been offering a new therapeutic program designed exclusively for military veterans and first responders who face unique challenges, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, insomnia, and traumatic brain injuries. These difficulties often lead to family tensions, social isolation, and even suicidal tendencies.
For 2026, we are proposing two retreats, to be held in June and August. The registration process is now open and available through our website for all interested individuals. Evaluation and accompaniment are provided in English, French, and Spanish. Please help us share this information with veterans and first responders who may be interested in this opportunity.
