Infrastructure
Takiwasi Center infrastructure is currently composed of the following elements:
- Housing center
A 2.5 ha. Housing center for resident patients in Tarapoto’s outskirts. It includes living quarters, kitchen, bathrooms, multipurpose rooms, library, offices, workshops, sauna, orchards.
- Botanical reserve
A botanical reserve, 40 ha. in size and located in the Shilcayo river basin, for the cultivation of medicinal plants with several cabins (tambos) for retreats and diets, etc.
- Health care center
Private medical facilities, associated with the housing center, located in the urban area. They include clinical laboratory, treatment room and beds for hospitalization.
