Metodology

The crongress is based on 5 thematic axes:

    • Mental Health Policy and Integration of TM (Traditional Medicine).
    • Addiction and Modified States of Consciousness.
    • Mental Health and Indigenous Peoples.
    • Traditional Medicine and Psychotherapy
    • Scientific Research and Interculturality

    KEY CONFERENCES.- The lectures will be conducted by experts in the topics proposed and presented the important aspects of their research results or their work. The presentation will last 40 minutes with 15 minutes additional to answer questions from the participants. There will be a session chairman and a secretary.

    THEMED TABLES.- Will focus on proposed themes for this conference bringing together exhibitors with a 4 Table Chairpersons and a Recorder. Will last 2 hours and each speaker will have 20 minutes for the presentation of his paper. Will be given a total of 30 minutes at the end of the presentations for discussion between speakers and written questions from the audience. The recorder will conclude with a summary of 10 minutes.

    OPEN FORUM.- Circle discussion in an informal meeting of indigenous representatives, teachers healers, practitioners of the MT and the general public for free discussion led by a moderator. This space may include proposals demonstrations and rituals. Will be permanently open during the Congress.

    FREE TOPICS.- Will be described in a poster. The dimensions of the poster is 90cm high by 60cm wide and will be exposed during the time of the Congress in an visible location.

    The work of free items will be presented
    in a poster, measuring 90 x 60 cm, including: Title, Author(s).

    The presentation should be easy to read and appreciate.


    We invited you to confirm your participation in advance with posters, to provide sufficient space

    VIDEOS.- Presentation at the Congress and continuing in an environment specific features, documentaries, institutional videos, etc.. Need a pre-registration and evaluation of the material proposed for the acceptance of your submission.

    The dynamics of the event will be organized as follows:

    • Key conferences (40 mins.)
    • Brief interventions (20 mins.)in debate desks, based on 5 thematic axes:

    • Project integration of traditional medicine with conventional medicine in the field of mental health.
    • Traditional medicines: indigenous and mixed race practitioners.
    • Academia
    • Governments and international agencies
